A smaller species than most ludwigia. The leaves are small and round. They develop an intense red colour, when given medium light. CO2 injection also recommended for this plant to thrive. A stunning plant that willingly produces side shoots that can be re-planted. It can be used in abstract style scape like any ludwigia to make interesting styles like sakura bonsai. Without CO2, a good lighting level and strict fertilising and maintenance routine is recommended.
