An easy beginner seahorse species, suited to tropical temperate aquariums and is as hardy as Kuda Seahorse. Males develop a big belly, hence the name. They will coexist with small moving fish such as coral gobys, fang blennies, mandarins, pipefish and some cardinal fish.
